Online Optical is a very convenient way to reorder your contacts lenses. You can order them anytime, 24/7, and have them delivered to either your home or office. We pride ourselves on customer service and guarantee 100% customer satisfaction!

  2. Find the brand and type of contact lens you currently have a valid prescription for
  3. Enter your prescription details (e.g. Contact lens power and Base Curve, BC)
  4. Submit your payment details. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards.
  5. Sit back and wait for your contact lenses to be delivered to your door step!

 

A Valid Prescription 

By purchasing from Online Optical, you are agreeing and confirming that your contact lens prescription is not more than 12 months old and has been issued from a registered Optometrist.

Whilst Online Optical is a contact lens re-order service, we strongly recommend that you visit your optometrist every 12 months for a routine health check. Complications with contact lens wear can be subtle but may have long term consequences which can be detected by your optometrist. Early intervention is the key!

Can I claim my contacts from my health fund?

Absolutely, provided you have optical cover! When you receive your contact lenses you will also receive a receipt with all the health fund codes and provider numbers. Lodge this receipt to your health fund and they will reimburse you your entitlements.

  How much is postage and handling?

Online Optical delivers Australia wide. We strive to use the most efficient and reliable delivery service for your location rather than a one size fits all approach. We engage both Australia Post (Regular and Express Post) and Couriered services. Postage and Handling charges are $10.00 for the standard service. Registered post costs $14.90 if you would extra peace of mind.

We now offer complimentary Postage and Handling for orders over $199.00.

  How long will it take for my order to get to me?

You should expect your order to be delivered within 5-7 working days. If there is any marked delay we will notify you via email. Our current statistics have shown that our customers have been receiving their contact lenses within 3-4 working days.

Can I swap to a different brand of contact lenses based on my current prescription?

No. The brand and type of contacts that your eye care practitioner prescribed is specific to your eye and you should only order that brand and type of contact lenses. Whilst the parameters (e.g. diameter, BC and the powers) might be the same, the materials are different between each brand and hence a different brand of contacts may fit differently to your eye. Online Optical suggests that you discuss this with your eye care practitioner if you are not happy with your current brand of contact lenses.

What is a valid contact lens prescription

A valid contact lens prescription is a prescription from your eye care professional that is not more that twelve months old. The contact lens prescription will state the brand and type of contacts (e.g. Acuvue Oasys) and the parameters which include the Base Cure, Diameter and Power of the contact lens specific to your eyes.

A spectacle prescription is different from a contact lens prescription. You will need to see your Optometrist for your contact lens prescription.

Contact lens wearers are recommended to see their Optometrist for routine eye health checks on an annual basis. This is because contact lenses can cause subtle but long term damages to the eye.

What is your return policy?

At Online Optical we pride ourselves with great customer service.  All the contact lenses we supply have a comprehensive warranty against any manufacturing defects.

Should you change your mind for whatever reason we will be more than happy to provide you with a full refund (less postage) provided that the contact lenses have not been opened and the original boxes are not damaged.
